The Leki Makalu is a classic you can always rely on for hikes and trekking. Equipped with the new Aergon Air grip, they have been specially adapted for trekking by combining lightness with stability for ultimate control on the trail.

The special hollow core technology allows a combination of lightweight construction with large, supportive surfaces that meet all the ergonomic requirements of your hand. Fully rubberised for maximum grip and control when going downhill, the Aergon Air has optimal wrist guidance and pole placement that is aided by the inclined angle of the grip.

The Makalu is constructed using aluminium tube shafts, giving it excellent stability, and making it a sturdy, reliable companion for all tours and treks.

The pole length ranges from 110cm to 145cm, where the vario construction allows you to adjust the poles to the exact height you require.
